On Tuesday morning, Takeoff, a member of the Migos, went away. He was 28.
According to a spokesman of the Houston Police Department, the rapper was shot and killed while playing dice at a bowling alley in the state of Texas.
According to TMZ, police received a complaint that a man had been shot at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston during an altercation at 2:40 in the morning. The victim had suffered a gunshot wound.
The guy who was eventually identified as Takeoff was reportedly declared dead at the scene of the incident, according to the authorities.
According to Lieutenant Christina Salazar, there were between 40 and 50 persons present at the bowling alley when the incident occurred. She went on to say that two further patients were transported in private vehicles to other hospitals.
Takeoff, whose true name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, as well as his uncle and fellow Migos member Quavo, were spotted and identified by the police as being present.
TMZ claimed to have gotten footage of Quavo visiting the bowling alley. In the footage, Quavo can be seen attempting to move his injured nephew before setting him down and calling for assistance.
According to the site, the 31-year-old man did not sustain any injuries.
Migos was founded in 2008 by Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset, who also happens to be Quavo’s cousin. At the time of the incident, Cardi B’s husband, who is 30 years old, was not present.
Twitter has been flooded with messages of condolence from fans of the Grammy-nominated rap group after the news of the alleged death of Takeoff.
“I can’t image Migos without Takeoff and Quavo together,” a user of social media wrote in a comment. “Had family in…”
Another person chimed in, “Rest in peace, Takeoff. Other than producing hits and running his own business, he never did anything else. Man, that’s not even close to being just.
Earlier this month, Takeoff and Quavo talked about the idea of advancing in their careers apart of Offset.
Do you understand what I mean when I say that I have a feeling that both of us desire to pursue our careers jointly? This was spoken by Quavo while he was a guest on the “Big Facts” program.
In the interview on October 4, he proceeded by saying, “Because we just came from a devoted family… that’s meant to keep together.” DJ Scream conducted the interview. When things don’t go as planned, it’s possible that they weren’t intended to.
Takeoff continued by saying, “We do not have all the answers….” Who knows? Only time shall tell.”
