Thomas Partey Arsenal return hint dropped after meeting with Eddie Nketiah ahead of Aston Villa

Thomas Partey couldn’t play in Arsenal’s loss to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night because he had a tight muscle. This was done as a precaution.

Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, isn’t sure if he will be able to go to Aston Villa on Saturday. He didn’t play in the loss to Manchester City earlier this week and isn’t sure if he will be able The Ghanaian player wasn’t in Mikel Arteta’s team because he had a tight muscle that wasn’t thought to be too serious.

Muscle injuries usually keep players out of a few games, but Arteta hopes Partey will be back soon so the Gunners can keep fighting for the Premier League title. The 29-year-old didn’t play, so Jorginho, Granit Xhaka, and Martin Odegaard started in midfield in his place. Arteta may play the same three against Villa.

Before the game against City, Arteta told Amazon Prime, “It’s just what happens in football.” Players get hurt, and Thomas Party felt something in his back muscle, so he can’t play today.

The Arsenal manager gave a new update on Partey’s fitness at his press conference before the trip to Villa Park. The club is evaluating Partey’s condition before the must-win game. Arteta said, “We need to look at him again today.

“He felt a little bit of pain in his muscles. We have to check on him and see how he is this morning.”

After losing to City, Partey met with Gabby Otchere-Darko, the executive director of the Danquah Institute, and Eddie Nketiah, an Arsenal teammate who is still deciding whether to change his nationality from England to Ghana. Otchere-Darko posted a picture of himself with Nketiah and Partey on social media. He said that both players will help Arsenal beat Aston Villa on Sunday and get back to winning ways.

Partey was seen driving his own car to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night before meeting up with the rest of his team. Even though Jorginho did a good job in his home debut, the Ghanaian will hope he can pass the necessary fitness tests to be cleared for the trip to Villa Park.

The 29-year-old has been a key player for Arteta this season. He controls the game from a deeper position, which gives Xhaka and Odegaard more power in the attacking areas. Arsenal’s chances of beating City were hurt by the fact that Partey wasn’t there, but defensive mistakes were the main problem. Arteta will hope that his team can get back on track on Saturday against Unai Emery’s team.
