Mrs. Nneka Okekearu to takeover as New director of Enterprise Development Centre. This Announcement was made known on the official Facebook handle of the Organization.

Before Now, She was the Deputy Director of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC). Her experience in the entrepreneurship space has led to her facilitating sessions on Strategy, Business Modelling, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Customer Services, Effective Communication, Business Ethics and Personal Productivity.

Nneka Okekearu became the center manager at the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in 2004 and has made a significant contribution to the development of the center. She presently serves as EDC’s Deputy Director and Head of Gender.

She has overseen a number of programs in her capacity, including the World Bank WomenX program, the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women project in Liberia and Nigeria, and most recently the ExxonMobil Foundation and Cherie Blair Foundation for Women’s Road to Growth program.

She also serves on a number of boards, including those for the Assembly hub, a catalytic platform aimed at enhancing the capacities of creative entrepreneurs, Recycle Points, an award-winning recycling social enterprise focused on the environment and the climate, and the Yemisi Shyllon Museum for Art of Pan-Atlantic University. She has mentored over 500 women entrepreneurs.
