It was a shocking moment for a shop owner as a man stopped by to make an unexpected restitution. He restituted a cash sum of N267,000 to settle for items he stole when he was young.
The kindhearted man went to the shop with a list of things he had taken when he was a child as he tried to make amends.

The heart-melting moment was captured in a video on TikTok, showing the man interacting with the shop owner.
He brought out a list of edibles and asked the owner of the shop for the price of each. The items included 56 cans of soda, 49 cans of energy drinks, 32 chocolate candy bars, 28 bars of fruit snacks and 31 bags of popcorn.

After getting a total of $422 (N188,000), he counted $600 (N267,000) and gave it to the shop owner instead.
The surprised shop owner asked what the money was for; he said that the money accounted for everything he had stolen from the shop as a child.
