Exclusive: Everton, Brentford and Wolves race to sign red-hot Arsenal star, as Arsenal price revealed

Everton Football Club is reportedly in the hunt for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun, according to sources from Football Insider.

The Toffees have identified the 21-year-old as a potential signing this summer as they search for a new striker to bolster their attack.

It is understood that Everton will face stiff competition from Brentford, Wolves, and Crystal Palace, who are also interested in acquiring the services of the Arsenal sensation.

However, it appears that Balogun will not play for the Gunners next season unless given guarantees by manager Mikel Arteta, as revealed by Football Insider sources on April 14.

Balogun has been in outstanding form while on loan at French club Stade de Reims this season and is keen to secure more game time at the Emirates Stadium if he is to remain with Arsenal. If the Gunners are unable to assure him of more first-team opportunities, Balogun is likely to pursue a permanent move to another club this summer.

Several European sides, including Red Bull Leipzig, Marseille, Lyon, Villarreal, and Sevilla, are also keeping tabs on Balogun’s availability, adding to the competition for his signature.

Despite Arsenal’s desire to keep hold of Balogun, the club may be forced to consider offers in the region of £30million if the young striker decides to push for a move at the end of the season.

Everton’s current striking options, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Neal Maupay, have struggled to provide the club with the goals they need this season, prompting manager Sean Dyche to prioritize the acquisition of a new striker this summer.

Calvert-Lewin and Maupay have only scored one goal each this season, highlighting the urgent need for a proven goalscorer to lead Everton’s attack.

Everton’s interest in Folarin Balogun is a testament to the young striker’s talent and potential, with several other clubs also keeping a close eye on his progress. It remains to be seen where Balogun will ply his trade next season, but one thing is for sure – his future looks bright, and he could prove to be a valuable asset for any club that secures his signature.
