Obafemi Martins, a former Super Eagles star, has recently achieved something massive.

The former Inter Milan forward earned a grade summary of 89 per cent as he received a degree in entrepreneurship in emerging markets from Harvard University.

Obafemi Martins is regarded as one of the most accomplished Nigerian footballers, having won championships in Inter Milan, Newcastle United and Rubin Kazan in Italy, England and Russia, respectively.

He posted a video of himself studying and having a celebration with friends.

“Never let other’s opinion of you define you,” he wrote.

“You can surprise yourself with what you can accomplish.”

Obafemi Martins made his debut in the 2004 Unity Cup and earned 42 appearances for the Super Eagles, scoring 18 goals.

He last played for the Chinese club Wuhan before he announced his retirement earlier this year. He was part of the Nigerian team that finished third in the 2006 AFCON.
