“We’ll pay for him again…” – The head of Shakhtar says Mudryk is unhappy that he choose Chelsea over Arsenal.

Darijo Srna, the head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk, said that Mykhailo Mudryk is “not in a good mood” since he signed with Chelsea in January.

The 22-year-old moved to Chelsea last month in a deal worth about £89 million. He chose Chelsea over Arsenal.

But the Ukrainian has had a rough start to life in west London. Since joining the Blues, he hasn’t scored a single goal or set up a single one.

Still, Chelsea hasn’t been very good in front of goal, as they have only scored once in their last five games.

Mudryk ‘not in a good mood’
Since then, Srna has said that the winger is having trouble at Chelsea, but he still believes that “he has all the skills to be one of the best players in the Premier League.”

He said this to Football Ramble: “Price was set by the market, not by me or our president. After Mbappe or Vinicius, Mudryk is one of the best players in Europe at his position.

“Someone must respect us if they want to buy a player from Shakhtar. We know both how to buy and sell players. He goes to our academy and is a great kid and player.

“Unfortunately, he’s not in a good mood at Chelsea right now, and neither is Mykhaylo, but he has all the skills to be one of the best players in the Premier League in the next few years.”

Srna also said jokingly that Shakhtar could get Mudryk back from Chelsea, saying: “It’s okay, we’ll just buy him back after the war. After the war is over, we will buy him back.”

He also said that Mudryk chose to go to Chelsea instead of Arsenal on his own.

“The cost was €100m, or €70m plus €30m. Arsenal really liked Mudryk, but Chelsea showed they were more serious about buying him and ready to do so. When it came down to it, Misha Mudryk made the choice, which was fair to Arsenal “he added.
