Ben Chilwell, a defender for Chelsea, talked about how the club’s locker room looked after their loss to Southampton on the weekend.
The Blues lost to Southampton, and they also lost at their own stadium, Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea didn’t score a single goal again, which is the sixth time in 11 games.
They haven’t been very good in their other games, which they’ve either won or tied.
“Again, not good enough,” Chilwell said in a statement on Chelsea’s website. I can say, as I did in Dortmund, that we had chances, but it doesn’t really mean anything. These games must be won.
“We need to work hard, because the dressing room is pretty empty right now. It’s hard to figure out what we did right and wrong today, but we have time to work hard until our next game.”
