Jesus answers prayers – Woman celebrates as she marries lover after her father was reluctant to approve because he’s not Igbo
A newly married Nigerian woman has celebrated marrying her man despite initial reluctance from her father.
She took to the microblogging site, Twitter, to celebrate getting married to her fiancé.
She stated that she had difficulty getting her father’s consent because the man is not Igbo. According to her, it took over a year before her father came around.
Once he had approved, she had her proposal, introduction, and court marriage in the space of 5 days.

She wrote:
“Had a hard time getting my father’s approval for over a year, just because my man isn’t Igbo. All of this (proposal, introduction, court wedding) just happened within the last five days. All I can say is, Jesus answers prayers. Hi Husband😉@wilson_gosim”
