I never gave up: Intelligent nursing mother graduates as civil engineer in US

Young and smart African woman Khadijah Ceesay received her degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. She managed to do this while also caring for her little son and managing her education.

Ceesay, who received a B.Sc. in civil engineering, tweeted her announcement of graduation and expressed her gratitude to all of her supporters.

She also stated that she persevered through difficult school times and never gave up.

Holding up her handsome son, Khadijah Ceesay wrote:

“I just want my son to know his mum is resilient and she never gave up! Full time mum. Full Time Students & Now Full time Civil Engineer.”

Khadijah Ceesay held the post of president of the Howard University Muslim Students Association while she studied. She also completed a Transport Engineering Internship at Amazon.

In addition, Khadijah worked as an M-Fellow at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Admission of the United States.
