A Nigerian man has been labelled “husband of the year” by social media users after a video of him supporting his wife while she was in labour surfaced on the internet.

Sharing the video on TikTok, the wife stated:
“Throwback to when I was admitted for premature contraction without dilation and my husband acted drama to cheer me up. Note: he gave me permission to post this. It’s quite long but listen to what he is saying.”
