FULL TIME HIGHLIGHT: Chelsea vs Brentford 0-2 _ Extended highlight and All Goals.

In a thrilling encounter at Stamford Bridge, Brentford emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Chelsea, leaving Frank Lampard without a win since his return to the club. The game was marked by an unfortunate own goal from Chelsea’s Azpilicueta and a stellar performance from Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.

Despite dominating possession in the early stages, Chelsea struggled to break through Brentford’s resolute defence. The visitors took the lead in the 22nd minute when a low cross from Mbeumo deflected off Azpilicueta’s leg and ended up in the back of the net, much to the dismay of the Chelsea faithful.

Chelsea piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser, but Brentford’s defence held firm. Brentford’s goalkeeper David Raya was in fine form, making several key saves to deny Chelsea a way back into the game.

In the second half, Brentford came out firing on all cylinders, with Mbeumo putting in a man-of-the-match performance. The Frenchman doubled Brentford’s lead in the 54th minute with a well-placed shot into the bottom corner.

Despite Chelsea’s best efforts to mount a comeback, Brentford’s defence stood strong, with Mbeumo continuing to cause problems for the home side. In the end, Brentford held on for a famous victory, sending their fans into raptures and leaving Frank Lampard scratching his head once again.

Brentford’s win sees them move up to ninth in the table, while Chelsea remain in 12th place, with Lampard still searching for his first win since his return to the club. However, the standout performance of the day undoubtedly belonged to Bryan Mbeumo, whose pace and skill caused problems for Chelsea’s defence throughout the game.
