While the millionaire lay helplessly on his bed, both wives were seen exchanging words before men in uniform got into the ward to take him out of the grip.

A male voice could also be heard asking him to show his hands as he claimed the second wife Baaba had been signing cheques and documents in Banda’s name.

Emerging reports suggest Baaba had secured a court order granting her permission to take custody of the frail Banda.

His family have waded into the matter with the family head, Mohammed Abu Banda, stating the position of the family in a press conference.

The family has been quoted as saying, “All the wives have done well. We are not here to support any of them. All we need is for him to be handed over to us. If we take him to our hometown and take good care of him and he is getting better, we can share the days for the two wives to come take care of him.”
