Jose Riveiro and the Bucs will be without THREE top stars when they run out for the MTN8 final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 05 November 2022.

THREE PIRATES PLAYERS RULED OUT OF MTN8 FINAL
Captain Innocent Maela, Goodman Mosele and Fortune Makaringe have all been RULED OUT of contention for the MTN8 final.
“Orlando Pirates captain Innocent Maela has been ruled out of the MTN8 final along with midfielders Goodman Mosele and Fortune Makaringe,” ipDiskiTimes confirmed.
Maela and Mosele both limped off during the brutal Soweto derby clash against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium.
Therefore, Nkosinathi Sibisi is set to wear the captains armband for the Bucs in the final.
However, Paseko Mako or Thapelo Xoki will step up in Maela’s absence.
Furthermore, Makaringe failed his fitness test ahead of the final but he has hardly featured this season since the arrival of PSL sensation, Monnapule Saleng.
