Aston Villa Legend Gives Mudryk Honest Advice on Which Club to Join

The future of Mykhailo Mudryk has been discussed by former Aston Villa and Liverpool striker Stan Collymore as the January transfer window draws near. The 22-year-old Ukrainian sensation, who has attracted the interest of London’s two top teams, Chelsea and Arsenal, is at a turning point in his career and Collymore thinks he should reject the Gunners in favor of a switch to Chelsea.

Mykhailo Mudryk has a choice between joining Arsenal or Chelsea, according to all the stories surrounding him, Collymore revealed in an exclusive interview. “I know some supporters will argue that given where both teams are right now, if he were to choose the Blues over the Gunners, it’ll simply be for the money, and that may very well be true, but for me, Chelsea is still the more alluring prospect,” one supporter said.

Collymore lists the rumored interest in Mudryk from Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, as well as the recent deterioration in performance of several of Chelsea’s best players including Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech, as justifications for the Blues to sign Mudryk. Despite the fact that Arsenal is now leading the Premier League, he thinks Chelsea will have a better future than the Gunners.

The more enticing option, according to Collymore, is for Boehly to sell Chelsea’s future to Mudryk. “I just think the Blues are the superior project over a three or four-year period, and the team more likely to consistently challenge for trophy – so all that being considered, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mudryk ended up at Stamford Bridge,” said the author.
