Arsenal offer to sign 22years old talented frenchman who is desperate to play under Arteta.

Arsenal Makes Official Bid for Galatasaray Defender Sacha Boey

In a recent development reported by Turkish outlet Hurriyet, Arsenal Football Club has taken a proactive step towards strengthening their squad for the upcoming season.

The London-based giants have officially tabled an offer to secure the services of Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Boey stems from their desire to reinforce their right-back position, an area they deem in need of improvement.

Hurriyet states that negotiations have already taken place between Arsenal and Galatasaray’s vice-president, Erden Timur, regarding the potential transfer of the talented French defender.

The Gunners have reportedly submitted a formal bid of £12 million for Boey, yet there remains a disparity of £5 million between Arsenal’s offer and Galatasaray’s valuation of the player.

It is anticipated that Arsenal will increase their bid in order to secure the services of Boey, who has expressed his desire to ply his trade in the highly competitive environment of the Premier League.

Consequently, there is a high probability of the 22-year-old making a switch to a new club before the closure of the transfer window.

In a recent statement, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta revealed that Tomiyasu’s recovery process may span up to six months, indicating that the player may not be available until mid-September. Any unforeseen setbacks in his rehabilitation could further delay his return.

Moreover, Arsenal faces an additional concern as Tomiyasu is expected to join the Japanese national team for the Asian Cup duty between January and February next year.

This consideration might be a significant factor in Arsenal’s pursuit of signing Boey from Galatasaray.

Boey, known for his defensive prowess, could prove to be a valuable asset for Arsenal. During the previous season, the Frenchman displayed an impressive passing accuracy of 79% and showcased his tenacity by averaging 2.8 successful tackles and 6.9 duels won per appearance, as reported by Sofascore’s statistics.

Additionally, Boey contributed one goal and four assists throughout the campaign, highlighting his ability to make an impact going forward. Arsenal could potentially utilize him as a valuable substitute option in the latter stages of games should White’s performance levels dip.

While Arsenal is primarily focused on bolstering their midfield department, their pursuit of Boey demonstrates their willingness to engage in tough negotiations.

However, it is imperative for Arsenal to expedite discussions in order to prevent rival Premier League clubs from entering the race for the talented defender’s
