Warzone is facing a cheating epidemic following the Season 5 update

Call of Duty: Warzone is facing a cheat epidemic following the reloaded Season 5 update.

Many players of the popular battle royale have taken to the internet to express their frustration at a noticeable spike in cheaters following the release of Warzone’s reloaded Season 5 update. Although cheaters were a common problem before Activision released their anti-cheat software, there are instances where players will notice an increase in hackers and cheaters, especially when a new update or patch comes out to rebalance the game.

It seems that with the release of the last major update for Warzone up to Warzone 2 by Activision and Raven Software, scammers have taken this as a time to join games before the end of the original Warzone. While many players have expressed their desire to see something done about the surge in cheaters when a new update comes out, neither Activision nor Raven Software have commented on plans to fix this issue.

Though the end of Warzone is near, many players are hoping that something will be done about the cheat epidemic plaguing one of the most popular battle royales of all time, whether through better anti-cheat or stricter enforcement of the rules.
