The recent release of Wrath of the Lich King Classic for World of Warcraft marks the return of the continent of Northrend. Newer players who are currently at a loss or returning veterans can use our guide to assist you on your journey to Northrend.
Horde players wishing to start at Howling Fjord will need to go to the new Zeppelin Tower in Tirisfal Glades. The Zeppelin Cloudkisser will then take you to Northrend.
Horde players looking to start from Borean Tundra should find the Zeppelin Tower in Durotar just past Rock Tusk Farm. Make sure to look out for Harbormaster Zelli Hotnozzle on the north side of the tower. Players can take a ride on the Mighty Wind Zeppelin to Northrend.
Alliance players beginning in the Howling Fjord will need to travel to the swamplands north of Iron Forge. In the Wetlands, a boat at Menethil Harbor will take you to Northrend.
Alliance players wishing to begin in Borean Tundra should head to the northernmost dock in Stormwind Harbor.
Players must be at least level 68 to reach Northrend. Northrend is located between Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Level 74 mages can also teleport to Dalarlan, the sanctuary city in Northend.
