Woody Allen was spotted Thursday strolling the streets of Paris alongside his wife Soon-Yi Previn.

The 86-year-old director was spotted in the French capital as filming began on his latest thriller Wasp 22, after confirming it “no intention to retire” after graduation.

Woody looked elegant in a navy blue sweater with a light blue shirt underneath.

He added khaki corduroy pants and tan suede sneakers and completed his look with a dark brown bucket hat.

Soon-Yi, the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow, Woody’s former girlfriend, opted for a pink knit sweater with orange trousers.

Mia and Woody had been together since 1979, but that all changed 13 years later when Woody, then 55, and Soon-Yi, then 21, were caught having an affair.

Woody and Soon-Yi share two adopted daughters, Bechet, 23, and Manzie, 22.

The New York native is in town as he begins work on his 50th film, which he has compared to his late work Match Point.

It comes as a representative of the director released a statement on Monday to clarify that Woody would not be retiring.

In an interview with the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, he was quoted as saying: “My idea isn’t basically to do more films and concentrate on writing.”

The statement said: “Woody Allen has never said he is retiring, nor has he said he is writing another novel.

“He said he thought about not making films as he doesn’t enjoy making films that go straight to streaming platforms or very quickly as he is a big lover of the cinematic experience.”

It concluded: “At present he has no intention of retiring and is very much looking forward to shooting his new film in Paris, which will be the 50th.”

The writer-director claimed the plot was “exciting, dramatic and also very scary,” describing it as something akin to the thriller Match Point, which won the Goya Prize for Best European Film in 2006.

In a live-streamed conversation on Instagram in June with actor Alec Baldwin – who has appeared in several of his films – the embattled writer-director alluded to his career turning point and said “the thrill is over” due to a downturn in theater – walking experience.

“A lot of the thrill is gone,” the director admitted. “Now you’re making a film and you go to a theater for a couple of weeks and then it’s going to stream or pay-per-view. It’s not the same. It’s not so comfortable for me.’
